Father Christopher Rogers,
Vocations Director of the Archdiocese of
Philadelphia, spoke to the students and
introduced the seminarians who were present.
The seminarians shared their stories and
answered questions. There were priests who
also spoke and witnessed to their experiences in
their lives as priests. The
students were then directed to the main chapel of the
seminary where Father Christopher Rogers celebrated
midday prayer and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Saint Charles Seminary is truly a remarkable place.
Anyone who has traversed its sacred halls retains a certain sense
of the awesome power of God in its beauty and silence.
Lunch and refreshments
followed. It was an enjoyable day for the students of Bishop
McDevitt High School and all the students of our
Archdiocesan
School System.
